Add

As described in the about section, the goal is for everyone to be able to add their own views and ideas in a similar manner.
Thus I’d like to give future contributors as much freedom as possible, nevertheless I feel like there should be a set of guidelines when contributing.

Content

Do’s

  • Be creative
  • Free speech
  • Challenge other opinions
  • Read. Reflect. Reply. Repeat.

Dont’s

  • Spreading hate -> (Try to add reasoning behind your opinion)

Language

I feel like I can express myself best in my native language.

So feel free to contribute in your native tongue. The only request I have here is that it should be more or less translatable to English.

Type

One shouldn’t be constrained to text. Feel free to use whichever format that you see as befitting. Here a couple of ideas:

Art

  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • Collage

Photography

  • Portrait
  • Photobook

Write

  • Thoughts
  • Poem / Haiku
  • Life lessons

Media

  • Song
  • Video

I’d like to ask you to refrain from using AI as much as possible. The goal is to share your own experiences as you see them. They don’t have to be written by a “30 year old scientist who is set to win a Nobel prize”.

Scope

Since it’s hard to define a scope for different types of contributions, I’ll leave up to the individual for now. This may be subject to change in the future.

Contributions

I’d be happy to hear your ideas regarding how I should handle contributions:

  • Censoring
    • Where do I draw the line?
    • How do I censor without obstructing free speech?
    • When does free speech become hate speech?
  • Hosting
    • How do I host contributions?
    • Where do I host contributions?

I’m not here to debate whether something is free speech or hate speech. I’m of the belief that every opinion has its right. Nevertheless not all opinions can be valued equally. Which is why I’d like to ask the reader for their thoughts regarding this topic.

UPDATE:
Contributions can currently be sent via email to project.youandwe@gmail.com

These will then be hosted and can be viewed on Google Drive under the following link: Y&ꟽ – Contributions
